Oakmead Electrical 48 Years Old
Oakmead Electrical celebrates forty eight years in the electrical contracting business this year. Things have changed a lot since 1958, when Oakmead Electrical began. Back then, the UK's electric plugs had round pins and there were different sizes for high power and low power devices. Changing a fuse meant wrapping a length of fuse wire around some terminal posts and much of the UK's housing still "enjoyed" cotton covered rubber sheathed electric cables - prone to disintegrating over time!Article posted: 01/01/2006
